I stayed at Marlin Inn Resort in Hurghada for a week, and my experience was overall very positive, with a few details that could be improved. If you are looking for a place with a beautiful beach, friendly atmosphere, and reasonable prices, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

The location is one of the resort’s strongest points. It’s situated right on the seafront, with a wide sandy beach and calm, turquoise water that feels like a postcard. You can easily walk to nearby cafes, shops, and a small market. The area feels safe, both during the day and in the evening. The sunsets are absolutely stunning, and the sea is perfect for swimming or simply relaxing by the shore.

The hotel staff made the stay much more enjoyable. From the receptionists to the cleaning team, everyone was polite, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. Whenever we had a question or needed assistance, someone was ready to help. The animation team deserves a special mention — they brought a lot of energy and fun to the resort. There were daily activities like aqua aerobics, yoga, beach volleyball, and various evening shows. They managed to create a warm, friendly vibe without being intrusive, so guests could join in or simply watch.

The food was overall good, especially for the hotel’s category and price. The buffet included a decent selection of local and international dishes: grilled meats, pasta, soups, fresh salads, fruits, and pastries. I especially enjoyed the Egyptian desserts and the fresh bread. Sometimes the food could use a bit more seasoning, but everything was fresh and nicely presented. There were also theme nights with different cuisines, which added variety.

My room was spacious, air-conditioned, and cleaned daily. The housekeeping staff did their job very well — towels were replaced regularly, and everything looked tidy. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well throughout the week. The only downside was that some of the furniture and bathroom fixtures felt a little old and could use renovation. However, the balcony view of the sea made up for that completely — it was beautiful to wake up to such scenery every morning.

The pool area was large, clean, and not too crowded, even when the hotel was full. The beach bar served refreshing drinks and light snacks, and I really enjoyed sitting there in the evenings, listening to music and watching the waves. The Wi-Fi worked best in the lobby and restaurant, but it was weak in the rooms — that’s something the management could improve.

What I appreciated most about Marlin Inn was the atmosphere — relaxed, cozy, and cheerful. It’s not a luxury resort, but it has soul and warmth. You feel that the people who work here genuinely care about the guests. For the price you pay, the hotel offers very good value: great location, clean rooms, tasty food, and a pleasant environment.

I would recommend Marlin Inn Resort to couples, families, or solo travelers looking for a peaceful yet fun vacation in Hurghada. It’s a place where you can truly rest, enjoy the Red Sea, and feel welcomed from the first day. I would gladly come back again in the future!
