stayed at Amphoras Blu in August and had a very nice experience. I went there simply to relax, enjoy the sun, swim in the sea, and get some rest — and I got exactly that. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s cozy and has a very warm, welcoming atmosphere.

The room was basic but clean. Housekeeping came every day, towels were changed regularly. The air conditioner worked perfectly — which is important, since the heat in Egypt in summer is no joke. The bed was comfortable, I slept well.

The sea was absolutely beautiful. Very close to the hotel, just a couple of minutes’ walk. Clear, warm water and a coral reef right there. I even tried snorkeling and saw some colorful fish — and I’ve never done that before! There were always enough sunbeds, no stress or fighting for spots.

The food was good. Not gourmet, of course, but plenty of choices: chicken, fish, stewed vegetables, rice, salads, fruit. I was never hungry. I especially enjoyed the grilled dishes. The restaurant staff were polite and everything was clean and organized. Hardly any lines.

The hotel is calm, no loud noise or crowds. There is entertainment, but it’s not pushy — young people can have fun, but if you just want peace and quiet, no one bothers you. The staff were all very kind and always smiling.

If you’re looking for a quiet, simple place by the sea, where you can relax without spending too much — this hotel is a great option. I really enjoyed my time there, got some sun, swam a lot, and feel refreshed. I think I’ll come back again.
