Just wrapped up a 3-night stay at Hotel Park Regency, and figured I’d share my thoughts while it’s still fresh.

First off, location’s solid. Close to the city center but far enough to avoid the chaos. I had meetings downtown and never had trouble grabbing a cab or walking to a nearby café. There’s a decent amount of stuff around – restaurants, a park nearby, and a pharmacy which came in handy.

Check-in was smooth. The front desk staff were polite, nothing over the top, but professional. I got a deluxe room, and it was clean – no weird smells or stains, which is always my first concern. Bed was comfortable enough, though the pillows were a bit too soft for my taste. Shower had good water pressure, hot water didn’t take forever to kick in. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was a relief since I had to take a few video calls.

Now, the food: I only tried the breakfast buffet once – it was okay. Not bad, not amazing. If you’re the kind of person who expects gourmet omelets and fresh croissants, you might be a little let down. But if you’re good with eggs, toast, fruit, and coffee, it gets the job done.

There’s a small gym – nothing fancy, but had a treadmill and some weights, which was enough for a quick workout. Didn’t use the pool, so can’t comment on that.

One thing that could be better: the room soundproofing. I could hear some hallway noise and doors closing. Nothing outrageous, but if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs just in case.

All in all, it’s a reliable place to stay – clean, decent amenities, not overpriced. I’d probably come back if I’m in the area again for work or a quick getaway.
